Day 31 / 365 Leaving and Living an Inheritance of Peace

DAY 31
2 Sam 9:7
And David said unto him, Fear not: for I will surely shew thee kindness for Jonathan thy father's sake, and will restore thee all the land of Saul thy father; and thou shalt eat bread at my table continually.

Can the bread we find at our spiritual table be an inheritance of the Lord's kindness and restoration from those who have loved God before us?
AND
Can we leave an inheritance for our children and our children's children?

I believe so.

Because of them all these things and more are on your plate
 for you to enjoy
 and
to open your heart to salvation
 and life everlasting

SO

If you have been given this inheritance, fear not, for  God's kindness is at your table.
 OR
If you do not have this, open this blessing for your posterity by teaching your children God's truth and by becoming all God has called you to be.

AMEN

  1. This is such a interesting topic to hit on, because like you said we know that even if you have not been blessed with a godly heritage you can be grafted in and the Lord will pour out his blessing just the same. Although, we also know that the prayers and the faithfulness of the generations are passed down and they do matter in the Kingdom.

  3. Oh amen! I believe we can tap in to the legacy and inheritance of our ancestors as well as sow in to the future of those who will come after us!
