Day 27 - Finding the Grace

Day 27
Finding the Grace
Hebrews 4: 16
… find grace to help us in our time of need

Finding grace is essential because it is grace that helps us in our time of need.

Grace is that place where we receive our help at exactly the right time.

Grace is that place where we not only don’t get what we deserve, but it is the place where we receive what we don’t deserve.

When we understand that he loves us so lavishly that he wants to pour on us what we do not deserve, then we are open to receive the help.
We are dancing in the rain of His goodness listening and watching for the help we need to come.

If you cannot receive the grace, you will not believe you should receive what you have not earned.

If you are still trying to earn the help – chances are you will not receive it through God.

The throne does not work like capitalism where there is an exchange of goods  – it is a place where love, gifts, favor, opportunity, wisdom, and grace are poured out.

Just approach.

  2. Thank you so much for posting this, Debi! Aren't we blessed to have a God who longs for us to approach Him and longs to lavish grace on us? May your cup of grace be full today!

  3. God's kingdom in not like capitalism.....love thinking of that. Which is both hard at times for us to grasp...and yet so beautiful that it is true.

  4. Thanks for this great reminder on grace! Good perspective with the throne and capitalism...why are we so often in that mindset? Let's just approach, just as you said! Have a great week!

  5. Grace....in the top 3 of my favorite words in the bible! Love, Grace, Mercy....hard to choose a fav, right?
Funny how our past experiences can affect our view of grace. Having been in the depths of legalism for many years, grace is like a glass of water on a parched day. It rejuvenates and reminds me that, as you said, "– chances are you will not receive it through God".
Wise words for a Tuesday :).
