Day 26 - He Knows the Perfect time

Day 26
He Knows the Perfect Time
Hebrews 4: 16
…that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need

Time of need is a very important part of this verse… it translates in the Amplified Bible

Appropriate help and well-timed help, coming just when we need it

God is watching the clock

Can you say Halleluiah?

Can you love it?

Can you believe God constantly gives us what we need “just when we need it.”

The Greek word for “time of need” is
chronos
1.    due measure
2.    a measure of time, a larger or smaller portion of time, hence:
1.    a fixed and definite time, the time when things are brought to crisis, the decisive epoch waited for
2.    opportune or seasonable time
3.    the right time
And need I remind you that at times we are not sure what kind of help we need at this time? – that too must be entrusted to God.
Sometimes the help we need is to stop needing something – he too can take that from us as we nestle down in his arms.

Thanks to Beth Hess for giving me this verse to freak on.  Check out her blog at justbebeth.wordpress.com

  1. Thank you so much for posting this and reminding me about God's perfect sense of timing. I get so impatient at times when I want God to work within my time frame instead of depending on His perfect timing!
