Day 25 - Four Things You Should Do After Receiving From God

Day 25
Four Things You Should Do After Receiving From God.
Hebrews 4: 16
Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

If you follow the invitation of this verse, you will have received mercy and found grace to help in your time of need.  Then what?
1.    Like a child, skip joyfully away with full confidence in the lover of your soul.  Do not give in to worry.  Do not give into fret.  Do not base your help being met on how you feel or your circumstance.  Do not go to others who might talk you into unbelief and fear.  Do you think a child of a loving, kind parent gets afraid that the parent will not do what they have promised?

2.    Meditate on this verse and receive its promise.  You will have received mercy and found the grace to get help.  Do not believe anything less.
3.    Expect direction.  Be ready to follow what you are hearing.  You are about to see something shift.  You are about to hear or see the help for your need.  Things will be different.  You can rest easy and excitedly.  You can know it is God’s will to help you in your time of need. Receive it by faith even before you see it.
4.    Be grateful for the answer to your need in advance.  Thank God verbally for the answer to the need - often.  Let your heart be full of thankfulness that you have a Father who wants to help.  Be full of cheer that you can live in great expectation for the answer from the throne.  What is that to not be excited and pleased about?

Thanks to Beth Hess for giving me
this verse to freak on.  Check out her

  2. This is GREAT! So many times I think there is more focus on HOW to have a quiet time with God and not enough of what to do AFTER these intimate moments. Love this friend! There is wisdom here!

  4. This is beautiful! Thank you for sharing. I often find myself overcome by anxiety and worries. It's in those moments that I have to remember The One who has already overcome the world. He has already won the battle.
